Afomia Tesfaye

I currently live in Los Angeles, but I was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. For the past few years I have been designing and manufacturing leather goods in my homeland. Working alongside incredibly talented artisans in Ethiopia has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I also enjoy story-telling, so the opportunity to write for NOVICA gives me the ability to merge my deepest passions. I hope to always engage in work that supports and amplifies the work of artisans across the world.
