"When designing feminine apparel, one of the aspects that excite me most is to create a beautiful combination of comfort and versatility for any occasion."
"I've always been attracted to fashion. I love the many possibilities in dressing the modern woman, adding a Mexican touch to my designs with natural fibers.
"I'm Veronica Legorreta, a textile artisan from the state of Guanajuato. I consider myself a very disciplined person, creative and committed to every detail of my work. I studied tailoring and pattern making, which led me to create my own designs with a more personal touch. But this was all thanks to my grandmother.
"All of my designs are made with muslin, and I add details such as crochet trim. We dye the cotton fabric in different hues that give us a complete and cheerful range of colors, perfect for the warmer months of the year.
"When designing feminine apparel, one of the aspects that excite me most is to create a beautiful combination of comfort and versatility for any occasion while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
"I always try to base my inspiration on my Mexican identity to result in elegance for today's woman.
"Choosing this career has given me the possibility of learning patience and taking extra and very personal care with everything I make.
"Thanks to the growth I've experienced, I've been able to offer work to women who are the heads of their families. It has also let me contribute financially to different institutions.
"I hope to continue adding to my collection and creating more designs for the 21st century woman — authentic, simple and beautiful."
