Peruvian Wool Runner Rugs
I was going to use this as a carpet runner but it is so beautiful that it is now on my wall as a decorative piece. I get a ton of compliments and will cherish it forever.
This is such a special woven piece that there was no way it was going to be on the floor. The colors are deep and vibrant, and the wool so soft. Feet would ruin it too easily! This could also be wonderful as a table runner, or on the head board of a bed.
I use this outstandingly beautiful rug as a runner on a a 1920s oak sideboard. Its warm glow lights up the entire room and complements the antique decor amazingly well. Incredibly well-made -- tightly woven, soft wool. I am so grateful to this artist, and will certainly get another rug for underfoot.
Like many other residents of Ayacucho, Zosimo Laura and his family were forced to abandon their homeland due to turmoil and violence.
