I received my beautiful new Sajad scarf a couple days before church this weekend. It was even more intricate, soft, and beautiful in person than I imagined. I feel so lucky to have picked out such a gorgeous addition to wear to church, where the air conditioning is known to really be chilly during some of the long winded sermons.
I ordered this scarf as a wrap for my mother of the bride dress. The colors perfectly compliment the dress and the size is just right.
This silk diamond weave shawl has a weight and heft that allows for a serious gorgeous drapery, yet is lightly warm for milder weather. It has a dramatic presence and solidity unlike many silk textiles such as chiffon. It is not raw silk, but feels firm and strong. It is a certain look, almost a twill-like feel. With wearing I imagine the weave will give a little and soften, but will retain its excellence. I love it.
