“What a Gem!”

First off, the quality of this handcrafted hammock is incredible. It made me really wish that more items nowadays were made with such care and quality as this, where just holding it and inspecting it, you gather a respect from the craftsmanship. I can tell that this will last for many years to come and from the moment I laid in it, I felt completely relaxed as if I were in my own personal getaway. It is so comfortable with the perfect amount of support and give that is flexible to move in. You can sit in it like a swing, lay down diagonally, or even tuck up with a blanket and pillow in the evening. The first day I got it I didn?t want to leave it?s nest-like comfort and ended up laying in it for a few hours just listening to music in front of a fire. I highly recommend this item and am so happy that it is absolutely worth the price and more. The fact that it is preserving traditional heritage and art, and female entrepreneuship is even more reason to invest your shopping here! Thanks!

“A Gem of a Hammock”

Beautiful hammock. Wooden rod keeps the bed flat. Ropes are strong enough to be durable and soft enough to be easy on the back. Add a lovely decorative touch to the patio -- and much comfortable relaxing any time.

“Absolutely Beautiful!”

This is a very high quality, expertly woven double sized hammock. By double I mean that you can lay asymetrically across it due to its width. It is absolutely beautiful, expertly woven and unique with the orange/cream bulico interweaving. Its hanging in my master bedroom and is so comfortable that Ive been sleeping on it every night. Nicaragua, particularly the town of Masaya, is world famous for quality hammocks. There is nothing in the world to equal them for style, quality and comfort. Im very happy that Novica is carrying these beautiful hammocks! Thank you, Mirna!

“more beautiful in real life”

The colors are lovely, the wood is lovely -- I cant wait for the weather to be warm enough to lounge in this! The craftsmanship looks very good; no cheap shortcuts taken. It arrived quickly, in sufficient but not excessive packaging. The only reason I didnt give this 5 stars is that I wish it were more weather proof... Novica is up-front about it not being so, and thats great! Thank you, Mirna and Novica!!

“Exactly what I was looking for”

I saw this type of hammock everywhere in Costa Rica but the ones sold there where not the same. I asked the people that had them (mostly restaurant and resort owners) and was told they come from Nicaragua. The Novica web site was the best selection and price i found and the order placed on the internet went smoothly. I gave it to my father & it now hangs at the family cabin!
