Cotton hammock, 'Iracema Rainbow' (double)

Absolutely Beautiful, Exceptional Quality Hammock!
I received my first Novica order, yesterday. Its an absolutely beautiful, colorful, double Hammock, of exceptional quality; handmade by a very talented artisan from Brazil. Its bright, rainbow colors are spectacularly brilliant. The material is strong; the ropes are plentiful, strong, and beautifully strung. Im looking forward to Spring/Summer, when we can hang it up and enjoy a nap, book, games on our cell phones, or just lounge. Thank you SO VERY MUCH!! Its a fantastic product! Keep up the beautiful/great work!! I absolutely LOVE this GORGEOUS Hammock! God Bless You!! Laurene

Multicolor Hand Woven Cotton Hammock Double Size, "Yucatan Feast"
$99.99Maya Artists of the Yucatán weave shades of yellow, blue, orange, green, and pink into a bright and comfortable hammock. Artisans preserve the traditional hand-weaving techniques first developed by Maya ancestors to craft this inviting hammock.
Long before the Spanish arrived upon the coasts of the Yucatan Peninsula, the Maya preferred to sleep and rest in hammocks. They considered the hammock to be like the loving embrace of a mother, due to the comfortable manner in which the body is held and swung within its cradle. Maya Artists of the Yucatan seek to preserve time-honored customs while also offering stylized versions of the original Maya hammock. For them, the hammock is a work of art. Their hammocks are incredibly comfortable, easy to maintain, and may be stored just about anywhere.
Please note: The accompanying extension ropes may vary in color from those shown in the images.
Please note: For best results, store indoors when not in use. Colors may bleed when wet.
NOTE: Because each is woven individually by hand, measurements may vary by as much as ten centimeters. There may be slight color variations from hammock to hammock. -
