Armando Ramirez revisits the golden age of film with this Rustic Film Projector, built from various auto parts and pieces of scrap metal. The pinewood handle is recycled from a nixtamal grinding mill, used for preparing tortilla dough, but the rest is repurposed spark plugs, a pulley from a toy train engine, the chain and wheel of a motorcycle, the ignition wheel of a car, the foot and diaphragm of a clutch pedal, and a bearing from the electrical system.
