Hummingbirds visit the feeder outside our living room window every year. Their appearance, their chatter, their ducking and diving are a joy to watch. And now our Jacobin Hummingbird sits perched on the sill of that window so we can see him all year round. (We wonder if the visiting hummers will notice and react to him. Time will tell.)
