I am an active Anglican, a Mom, a Granna, an aspiring Mediterranean and East Asian cook, a dedicated cat lover, a Sarah Brightman fan, and a member of the National Geographic Quality Review team. I am a late-night eBay shopper also addicted to Foodie Blogs, and spend far too much time shopping for irresistable bargains online. *sigh* My hobbies and interests run the gamut from medieval re-enactment skills, falconry, and re-creating my own Tudor/Elizabethan Court Dresses to crop circles and collecting reproductions of Ancient Egyptian art and statuary. I knit and do petit-point, crewel, and blackwork embroidery as hobbies. I usually vote Republican, but supported Hillary Clinton. I had a loving family growing up, and know how fortunate I've been. Life is what you make it, and mine is good more often than not.
