Retired / Active volunteer with dog rescue group and local Police Depart.,Painter, Poet, Gardener

I was born in Providence Rhode Island but have been in the SF Bay Area since I was 6 mos. I am divorced and have one daughter. I retired in 2005 after working as a secretary for 30 years. I spend my free time volunteering with a dog rescue group and with the local police department. I enjoy gardening and grow my own vegees and herbs; love to read, paint and write poetry. I also love the outdoors, enjoying canoeing and kayaking, hiking, swimming and fishing. It is my dream to some day visit Costa Rica, go on a cruise, take dancing lessons and swim with the dolphins.

The thing I enjoy most about NOVICA is is the opportunity to see, and occasionally purchase, the work of so many talented artists worldwide. The most fascinating aspect is to see the different materials used by these artists.
