I am 65 years old, still working full time for a small communications company, divorced with 2 grown sons. Older son lives in Dallas, TX & has 2 sons with current wife and 1 son & 1 daughter with previous wife. The other son is an actor and lives in New York City. He also works at American Express & his lovely wife works for Shoba Cosmetics. My interests include art in a variety of art forms, painting, pottery, jewelry, music, theater, movies, social science, nature, history, geography, archeology, TV, and being with friends and family for board games, meals,and whatever fun we can make for ourselves. I'm inspired by people who overcome difficulties and make a difference in the world. I have 2 cats - Dylan age 19 and Sugar age 3, plus I am a feline friend and feed and care for several outdoor cats.

What I like most about Novica:

I am very interested in art of all kinds - especially that of other cultures; I am particularly drawn to art from India, Indonesia, South America, Africa. I like art in a variety of forms in my home for display, as well as wearable art in clothing & jewelry. I love Novica because so many countries are represented and because you introduce us to the artisans and their work. I am impressed with the quality and packaging and love the ease of browsing without leaving my home or workplace. I am an amateur artist and love seeing and owning the work of real artisans. I also like knowing that I am helping someone make a living doing what they love to do. I love bright colors and interesting shapes and color patterns and textures.
