I live in the foothills of California's gold country where the seasonal changes are bold: hot, dry summers and chilly wet winters. I love frogs, and plants, and tall, tall trees that dance in the breeze. I like seeing the colors progress as leaves flicker in the sunlight and blooms turn their faces to the warmth. Bird songs, children laughing, and frogs calling out to one

another are my favorite sounds.

Novica is the window to the makers of this world. It is joy to see what each man and woman brings into being through

application of their unique view. The amalgam of spiritual, cultural, geographic and environmental influences which are drawn in by the artisan's senses are sent back out into this world as tangible beauty we can all share. Makers are the inspirational mirrors of humankind.
