"My parents always taught my brothers, sisters and me to be independent, work hard, and be responsible in whatever we do. After graduating from high school, I had to think of a way to survive and pay for my college education. I loved to carve, so I began crafting beautiful mirrors together with my sister.

"I was born on March 7, 1983 in Central Java and first came to Bali in 1997. I am a university student in the School of Economy Management.

"Mahogany and teak wood are the main materials we use. The design itself is a combination of Solo and Jepara styles.

"I still need to earn much money to complete my education. But the problem is, it is hard to sell my works in the economic situation we face. So when Novica offered to promote my works to the whole world through the Internet, I said hopefully all people will accept my art works."
