"George Nyampong is my name, and I was born in 1955. My father was a renowned wood carver. I learned my carving skills under the instructions of my father and also it is something that I was born with. I took up carving as my full time job when my father died. I have been exhibiting at the Ghana trade fair and the Ghana National Museum. Also, tourists patronize my works.

"I am married with five children."
