Khoirul Anam

Khoirul Anam was born in Java August 5, 1969. He tells his story.

"I learned to make musical instruments by myself, under the guidance of no one. At first I learned to place goat hide on some kinds of instruments, and then I learned to do the finishing process. Ever since then, music has been part of my life. In 2001, I was finally able to establish my own workshop.

"Recently, music was introduced to the modern world as an alternative way to heal people from illness, which is known as music therapy. Listening to certain music can also help ease stress. I thrive on the challenge of creating various kinds of musical instruments.

"High thanks to what Novica is doing in promoting artists art works. Hopefully, people in the whole world will accept my works."
