"Hi friends. I was born and brought up in beautiful Delhi. As a child, I grew up in a fantasyland filled with colors and my imagination. My father was a drawing teacher by profession and he was really creative. I used to watch him paint using different vibrant colors. It seemed that whatever he depicted came to life. This was so fascinating.

"As I grew up, I became interested in fashion and other creative fields. So after my schooling, I took admission in custom designing. However I was not satisfied, so I decided to study further and this landed me in the National Institute of Fashion Technology where I took a course in accessory design. Here I learned everything about designing, which was – I think – the stepping stone to my profession as a jewelry designer.

"Initially, I started with fashion jewelries. Oh, there is so much you can do! All the colorful beads and sparkling stones give me a sense of freshness and youthfulness. And this brings back memories of my childhood when I played with my father's color palette. I still owe my creativity to my dad. It all comes from him.

"Fashion imitation jewelries are very much a part of Indian custom and tradition. A huge part of the Indian population uses imitation jewelry in weddings. Besides, young girls are fond of trendy imitations. Recently, I have started venturing into silver jewelry as well and the response has been great. I blend my design into traditional themes to suit different occasions. I have taught my younger sister and together we create beautiful designs.
