Fabiana and Luciano

"Our work is borne from our experience in design and administration, but especially from our marriage! We're Luciano Franco Piccinini e Fabiana Chiara Zimmermann. I'm Luciano, and I have always been proud of my beloved Brazil. I love the different customs that have flourished through out my country, I love finding out about them and try to understand them. The constant variable amongst the Brazilian people is creativity – it has helped us overcome everything we have ever had to overcome as a nation.

"Fabiana, my wife, is a designer. She's very creative and totally dedicated to art and innovation. One beautiful night we were chatting about work, and I was telling her about the disillusionment I felt about mine, in information technology. By the end of the conversation we had come up with the idea of creating a line of fashion and décor products entirely based on our beloved Brazilian culture. That was the beginning of our project in the design of handbags. Our designs merge Brazilian creativity with our passion for our culture and history.

"The common theme running through out our designs is Brazilian artistry and culture. We named our first collection FunFé, inspired by the faith of the Brazilian people.

"We want to show the world a glimpse of our culture through high quality products, good designs and culture-based themes. We have started with handbags, but we plan to expand with original designs for T-shirts, cushions and bikinis. Our plan is to do so gradually, as our little venture begins to grow.

"We're not interested in becoming a big business, but we would like it if people got to know our products so we can grow."
