The game of life takes significant symbolism in the work of Cosme de Souza. Playing cards cascade amid somber faces and the national emblem of Brazil, all related through bright red hearts. "Life has multiple facets and human beings travel their paths through this game of positions. However, there are times when remembering the rules is made difficult by the very nature of the game itself," believes the Brazilian artist.
