Arturo Martinez

Born in Lima on January 5, 1964, Arturo Martínez is an industrial engineer. Since 1995, he has specialized in leather craft. Martínez's parents are in the clothing industry where he learned many of the techniques he applies to leather.

The designer prefers such lines as desk accessories, handbags, briefcases and luggage. He uses hand tools and accessories such as attractive zippers, snaps and buckles. To achieve his goals, Martínez has created a community of artisans who collaborate with him. His products have been very well received for their quality and his own punctuality in filling orders.

Married and the father of two children, Martínez gets many design ideas from his wife, Veronica.

"All of us who have contributed to these articles thank you," he says. "They are lovingly crafted by hand, and we feel a personal attachment to what we do. We hope our work will be well received by you."
