Signed Painting of Pregnant Angel on a Swing by Peru Artist, "Blessed Solitude"

"A pregnant angel sitting on a swing feels alone and sad. The background is shaped by pieces of a puzzle, dark and light in color, symbolizing the good and the bad that she has experienced. What should bring her happiness is also bringing her a sad sense of solitude," says Juan Sandoval of his painting. He combines walnut stain and pencil with oil and acrylic paints to create an intriguing sense of loneliness.
