"A spot of sunshine"
I recently received the red wing songbird. It is pretty, cheerful, and very well-made. It is both decorative and useful. It is sitting on a table in my family room, and has already been used as a relish dish at a family celebration. My mother collected Majolica in the 1940s and 50s, and my daughter collects talavera today. This piece blends with both, while having a style uniquely its own. The colors and design of this rabbit dish are just delightful. Perfect size and shape for a dresser, night table or end table to catch small jewelry like eartings and odds and ends we want to keep safe.
