Flowers and paisley are aglow in the symphony of color that makes this Varanasi shawl unique. Ziauddin Ansari uses ikat dyeing techniques to achieve an iridescent effect in shades of lapis blue, fuchsia, teal blue, purple, yellow, orange, blue, and green. The silk shawl is trimmed with golden zari threads.
