A cargo truck makes its way down a bumpy road. As is common in West Africa, it bears a legend painted by hand. For artist Francis Amoah, "Sea Never Dry" stems from the belief that people have an immense capacity for creativity. In Ghana's past, and at times in the present as well, these antique-looking trucks were used to transport goods from the villages to the cities.
