Walter Diaz depicts an archaeological treasure discovered in Sipan. Crafted of gold, the original piece had eyes of lapis lazuli. Sipan is an archaeological site in northern Peru where the tomb of the Lord of Sipan was discovered in 1987. The artisan works in ceramic covered with gleaming gold leaf and presents his miniature replica sculpture in an acrylic display case.
