Wearing frangipanis on their heads as symbol of loyalty, a bride and groom wed in the tradition of Bali. Suparta carves each sculpture from albesia wood, and masterfully details their traditional attires with exquisite handpainted details. The handsome groom is wearing a udeng on his head, a golden top and a dark green sarong detailed with flowers. The beautiful bride wears a florid gray sarong and an ornate crown. Suparta details each sculpture with gilt to enhance their antiqued finish.
