Designer Deborah Osei Boakye honors royal Ashanti lineage with this framed kente cloth. Woven in bright colors, each possesses a symbolic meaning according to kente lore: Pink is associated with feminine essence, green and yellow both represent vitality, spirituality and fertility. Boakye names this piece Ahenfo Bobinsa Koraa, meaning "royal wine glass."
The precious textile is mounted on manila paper and framed in ornate sese wood featuring a protective glass pane.
