I am a 59+ years female. I have Cerebral Palsy, a condition that occured from birth. After graduating from UCLA in 1975, I returned to San Diego to a part time job as a reporter focused on disabled person's issues and the community. After that position phased out, I became employed with a community-based agency that provided a variety of services to disabled persons. My particular speciality was community orgenization and advocacy. I am currently retired and enjoying 'La Dulce Vita' in the 'Little Italy'area of San Diego..

Novica helps bring artisans from around the world to one's computer screen; an experience otherwise difficult to have since I am physically disabled. I enjoy the creative spirit captured in sculpture and painting, masks and puppets being among some of my favorites. I also like the personal touch that artist give when they return a postcard and note with their masterfully-finished project.
