"I began to make paraffin pieces that were something more than mere candles."

"I am a decorator and a shop window coordinator, and I dedicated a big part of my life to these activities - whether living in Brazil or in Argentina. In 1998 I was living in Buenos Aires and I took up candle-making as a hobby. When I decided to return to Brazil, I wanted to live away from bustling cities and I settled on a small town on the coast, famous for its beaches and exuberant flora.

"I began to make candles for my new house since I feel candlelight makes an environment warmer and more cozy. I began to make paraffin pieces that were something more than mere candles. I wanted to my candles to stand out for their original design and beauty. As I entered this new venture I counted with the support and encouragement of my partner, Fernando Mazzella, and my sister Shirley as well as that of renowned decorators, such as Mirian Lantus and Edgard Octavio. I developed a line of candles characterized by modern and contemporary designs featuring straight lines and smooth textures.
