"I love the atmosphere of northern Thailand; I like the culture and the handicrafts."

"My name is Lapatlada Palapinyo. I was born on September 9, 1970 and I received a bachelor's degree in political science. When I left the university, I moved to Bangkok in order to find work. But I realized that I truly love northern Thailand and wanted to live here. I decided to come back and find a job. I got the opportunity to work as a personal manager in a department store, where I worked for eight years. This job taught me skills in management, and two years later my friend invited me to start a company with her.

"I love the atmosphere of northern Thailand; I like the culture and the handicrafts. I like to dress beautiful things. For this reason, we established a partnership to work with handicrafts. Personally I love to design. All of the line and the motifs are my designs. I am always learning about silk and cotton. I've found many things to prepare for our company, and I use all the materials that are found locally as much as I can. The silk is woven by skilled artisans in a small village, such as hill tribe people.
