I live in Australia which is truly a lucky country. While I have travelled to many countries and appreciate each of their unique characteristics, I have also been touched by the daily struggle which many people have in attempting to make a comfortable life for their families. I am involved in a number of charitable organisations in my home town and also volunteer my time to non profit organisations which work to enhance the lives of local people. I have three delightful grandchildren and I enjoy teaching them various paper crafts. My leisure time is spent mostly in my craft room where I very much enjoy creating paper based projects.

I like the fact that the artisans directly benefit from the sale of their work. I prefer to support individuals rather than conglomerates. I also like the concept of the microcredit program. I found NOVICA quite by accident while searching for special birthday gifts for my mother and daughter in law and will be placing my first order today.
