I am the designer at The Flowering Earth (www.TheFloweringEarth.com), creating everything from jewelry to knits. You never know what I will come up with. www.TheFloweringEarth.com is a shop on www.Etsy.com (online Artist Community). I find it both interesting and fulfilling that the very same things that inspire me to sketch, write a poem or song, play guitar or piano, also inspire me to create rings, pendants, earrings and bracelets. The way the water flows onto the beach will inspire a curve in a band. The color of the ocean will be reflected in a stone or bead. I believe stones from the earth are healing to both our body and soul. Nature and love are two of my favorite muses and our world offers me a never ending pallet of inspiration. People ask me if I am Italian. I'm half Italian but the other half is made up of a couple nationalities including Cherokee Indian. I believe the Native American part of me is the part that inspires me the most.

I love the fact that these pieces are unique and created mostly by hand and by the artists and not mass produced. I love reading about the artists. My interests are all over the place but I would say jewelry intrigues me the most. Outside of my Etsy.com roots - Novica is one of the most interesting places I have visited.
