"I am thankful for what nature has offered me; since a very early age, it is what made me learn to appreciate and respect Mother Earth."

"My work is motivated by the memories that I carry with me from my childhood, experienced intensely alongside the earth. I live in west-central Brazil. The memory of my origins, of the holidays on the ranch, together with nature, instigated my search for prime materials and the inspiration to innovate artistically.

"I am thankful for what nature has offered me; since a very early age, it is what made me learn to appreciate and respect Mother Earth. I began painting when I was still a child, and I enjoyed reproducing works. My family sensed my potential and encouraged me in the best manner possible.

"I continued with my studies and when I began to create works in watercolors is when I defined a more personal style, with very strong colors. Today I work in acrylics mixed with various natural elements (guariroba husks, corn husks, banana tree bark, vegetable chuck, sand, cork, flax, paper, and twine). I try to use strong colors and diluted forms in a deconstructive play of the figurative, preserving unity and lightness in my work."
