"I'm Leonardo Dante Lucano Maguiña from Peru, born May 29, 1973. I learned the silversmith trade from experienced artists. My art is something beautiful and wonderful that embellishes women and gives presence to men.
"It all started as a hobby and soon evolved as a fulltime job, because I realized that I truly identified with jewelry design and the silversmith's work. I enjoy what I do. Every piece of jewelry I make becomes a link in my vocation, and this in turn motivates me to continue developing new designs as I delve into the fantastic realm of creativity.
"I try to transmit the beautiful Peruvian art that we inherited from our ancestors, which is deeply ingrained in our culture and history. I've exhibited my collections in several fairs, exhibitions and private shows.
"I feel very happy when I see a piece I designed worn proudly by someone else. It encourages me to continue in my search for originality, creating jewelry in different styles that will please everyone."
