"I am Giuliana Bassi Moy and I was born on September 5, 1965. I studied Business Administration, and three months after graduation I got married and had two children. I have always had art running through my veins, so I decided to step into the world of art. My greatest dream has been to take traditional Peruvian art to the world. I thought people in different countries would like to know about our art, which is filled with history and culture.
"I met Carmen when I was taking my kids to school. We started talking and we realized we shared the same interests, that is, to craft things with our hands that represented Peru."
"I am Carmen Solari Otero, born on 11 June, 1956. I studied a variety things, including International Relations and Marketing. I worked in the sales department of a big shop, and I loved the contact I had with the customers. The store always provided us with different courses, including decoration, and that's how I began to fall in love with art.
"I left work after getting married and having my two children. When I met Giuliana we decided to create something that was innovative and different, yet something that people could identify with.
"That's how we both began this journey. We find a way to design and apply details, including Peruvian elements that together make up a whole. We both took courses on design so we could achieve the best shapes as well as the best quality. Each line we draw takes us on a discovery of what to do. We let our imaginations fly together so we may arrive at an original design.
"Our intention is to make sure every piece arrives to every little corner in the world. That has become our greatest challenge."
