Julieta Toledo

"Hi, I'm Julieta Toledo. My parents are taxqueños (from Taxco) and I was born in the 'City of Silver.' I learned to work with it when I was quite young, as my father was involved in silver mining. At the age of 12, I began creating my own designs.

"Nature has always been my source of inspiration, as my father would come home from the mine with quartz, minerals and gemstones. I loved to see these beautiful jewels formed by the earth and the veins of silver in the rocks.

"I lived in Merida for three years with my beloved family and our surroundings were beautiful with the sea nearby and sunsets like visions.

"I am so grateful for these beautiful experiences. Here, I share with you some of nature's own creations, adding my personal touch as a Mexican woman. I hope you like them as much as I do."
