"Hello, my name is Rajeev and I was born February 29, 1964 in Uttar Pradesh. Our family was doing well until my father's business incurred a heavy loss. Since then, my mother has been crafting and designing jewelry to sustain the family.

"It was easy for my mother to take up jewelry since my grandparents crafted gold and silver jewelry. I grew up watching my mother make enchanting designs.

"I joined her in 1984. Today, we have a family workshop where other artisans collaborate with us. My brother Piush even won an award from the state and our work has received international acclaim. We all work together toward our dream of becoming some of the best jewelers in India. In addition, we also sculpt gemstone figurines."
