"I was born in Lima in 1970 and for as long as I can remember I was attracted to art. I was fascinated by all I could do with color. My family was always linked with art: My older brother is a recognized Peruvian painter who was influential in my decision to dedicate myself completely to art. From the time I was very small, I took painting courses under Peruvian artists and, at the age of 18, I studied at the Dallas Art Institute in the U.S. Afterward, I consolidated my studies in Peru.
"I describe my work as organic lineal compositions. Maximizing my existence is what motivates me to realize my art, and I try to offer viewers a subliminal visual alternative.
"I have taught courses for children through the university and currently show my work in galleries and at annual exhibitions in Lima. I believe that Novica is an efficient way to encounter the harmony found in art."
