"Hello, my name is Pankaj and I was born on 24th October, 1969 in the mesmerizing town of Farrukhabad, in Uttar Pradesh. I chose to join this field since it is a family legacy and I wanted to uphold my family's traditions. I would say the creative freedom in the field of handicrafts is what actually caught my attention.

"It has been a wonderful experience being in this field. I have a close working relationship with some artisans and together we put in all of our efforts in creating new ideas to make unique or innovative items, because the market is so competitive and it always demands a change, something new.

"Today, I work alongside seven artisans who are helping me realize my dreams. Our basic line of products are Kashmiri shawls. We use silk, wool and other fancy blended fabrics to give a unique touch to our products. Creativity is the only thing that keeps us going. A lot of hard work is involved in creating each item, and it is our desire to give our products a place of their own in this competitive market.

"My products have been appreciated by our customers and I think this is our biggest achievement - customers are our critics and guides, we derive inspiration from them.

"I feel proud to be a part of Novica. It's really a unique and wonderful concept and I appreciate Novica for making it possible to introduce my products to the world."
