"My name is Manuel Mendoza Vazquez and I'm twenty-nine. I was born in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato where I've lived all my life. Beginning with my grandparents, my family has made tin handicrafts for more than forty years, and six years ago I started my own workshop. Today, we are a team of twenty-five persons.
"I enjoy working with tin plate because it takes any form you want - animals, suns, moons, eclipses, flowers and stars. On the other hand, when rusted, it takes different hues that embellish our designs. It is also so versatile that we can create a wide array of products, from simple things to very complex lamps. Currently, we have incorporated Talavera tiles for complementing our art in a beautiful and successful combination.
"Thanks to Novica, our products can travel to all parts of the world, taking with them a greeting filled with the joy of Guanajuato."
