I received the Lakshmi Goddess Hindu Wood Sculpture Statue by Suresh Garg today. The presentation was so lovely and gave the recipient a chance to feel a more intimate relationship with the Artist - such a gift. Thank you for the beautiful rice paper and cloth ribbon wrapping and personal note from the artist. It was quite ingenious how carefully the item was packed for shipping and yet elegantly wrapped. I've seen hundreds of Lakshmi in my 44 years. While I collect Goddess and Dancer sculptures, I had never purchased a Lakshmi before. I was especially attracted to this one because she radiates this peace, love and compassion - like a Quan (Kwan) Yin. Everyone that has seen and touched her to date notes on how lovely her energy is. They feel like they get this sense of the Artist and his energy is so beautiful! There is a feeling of gentleness and kindness. Lakshmi, along other attributes being the Goddess of Prosperity, I love the feelings of compassion and love combined with prosperity. In the spirit of Art, creativity and spiritual intention, I hope these works of art through their deep impact on people, help heal the world's "money issues" by infusing it with love and spirit. Right now I'm putting together a nonprofit center, but at a later date I would be interested in seeing her done in Marble or Jade. The Artist mentions in his statement that he sometimes works with Marble. Having grown up in the tropics (Hawaii), I love the Wood Sculptures. My interest in Jade and Marble stems from my recent acquisition of some Jade Sculptures of Sacred Dancers that date over 5000 years old. I would love to see some of the wood sculptures done in materials that last throughout the ages. Thank you all for your work! It's such a blessing.

I received my first sculpture today from Mr. Suresh Garg. I have never been so delighted with anything I've bought before. My "Gracious Lord Ganesh" wood sculpture is so very beautiful, and so intricately carved. I caught my breath when I saw it, and couldn't stop staring at it thinking how precious it was. I will order from Novica and most particularly this gifted artist again. It was beautifully wrapped too. I just can't say enough about my purchase and it's creator. Thanks!
