Help us work in more countries
"I give thanks to Novica for the significant change it has made in my life. Before, we were living with a mattress on the floor, and now we have a comfortable and pleasant new home. I'm very happy to have been able to pay for the schooling of my three children and the comfort of my family. Previously, I sold my work on the street. Now, my income has increased three times. I am doing the job I always dreamed of doing, and I love it."
- César Gonzáles, gemstone artisan, Peru
Through our seven offices we've helped make an impact on more than 50,000 individual artisans, their families and communities. Because of your purchases and support, together we've been able to improve the lives of so many hardworking and talented people worldwide.
Thanks to your New Region Development Fund contributions and the matching funds of not-for-profit organizations such as the Grassroots Business Fund, a World Bank affiliate, we have been able to launch a new region: Central America! Our regional office is based in Guatemala, the most populous nation in Central America and the former center of the ancient Maya civilization. Over 10% of the population of Guatemala work as artisans, approximately 75% of whom are women and craftspeople living in rural areas.
We would love to expand our efforts and continue to open new offices around the world. With your support, we can turn that goal into reality.
Our regional offices address economic development in the artisan sector, helping raise many families out of poverty and increasing the standard of living in rural communities throughout the nation.
As a thank you for contributing and becoming a Region Founder, you will receive a 10% discount on your first purchase from the new region when it opens.
Thank you so much for your support!
